glorious thunderstorms and i was scared of heights and it was so humid i thought my skin would dissolve. i guess i am made out of moss and salt water not cicada songs and sticky sweat but still i love you pennsylvania.

drove 200 miles to a hidden pond on hwy 1 to meet a long lost friend. have you driven that road? on the cloudiest day it was terrifying, desolately beautiful. you're on a cliff over the sea, on the windingest hilliest one lane highway, i went 10 miles in 40 minutes whilst convertibles recklessly sped around me, all above only whitegray sky and salt air and bent trees, looking out over the cold gray ocean --
